SLPHS Families,
I hope each student and staff member had time to rest and recharge with loved ones over the Thanksgiving break. We welcomed students back this week to wrap up Trimester 1.
The last week of the trimester can be busy for students and staff as we assess student learning for the term. I want to be sure students end the trimester strong. Please encourage your student to be communicating with their teachers if they have any questions about their learning or assessments. As a reminder, there will be no school for students on Friday, December 3 and Monday, December 6.
It is especially important that any student with absences in the last week of the trimester are communicating with their teachers while absent as we finalize trimester grades. Trimester 1 grades will be viewable on the Campus Parent Portal after December 9, and report cards will be mailed to homes by December 17.
We have made it through the first third of the year learning together. I am excited to see what successes we will celebrate together as we move through the rest of this school year. As always, I appreciate your partnership as we build bright futures together.
