Before You Come to Campus...
I am not certain this app is live for everyone immediately... At our meeting on Thursday, they were working on rolling it out. Please check before you come to campus. If it is not yet available on your SSO apps page, please use the screening questions and Google log we've been using. Once the app becomes live for you, transition to only using the COVID-19 Checkin app.
All staff must wear a mask of some sort when moving through common areas in the building or when working in the same room with another person. A mask is not required while working along in your room.

School Closure Updates as of 4.30.20
Please see my hastily written notes from the district meetings this week:
Limited operations next week, starting May 4 – teachers will be able to return to limited time in rooms starting May 11th
Salute to Education presentation in the Facebook Live broadcast next Tuesday – 5.5.20 – tune in! District teacher of the year will be announced live. Email invitation / digital award going out to all honorees going out today.
Be thinking about what kinds of assignments we can give for the last week(s) that will not require students to have materials we have collected for EOY turn-in.
There will be remote ESY services. Email forthcoming…
Folder exchange procedures being examined by C&I. Updated info. coming within the next couple weeks.
RtI
If interventions can be done, do them. If not, document why within eSped. No need to meet again if already met on a child. Don’t take students out of interventions unless overwhelming evidence that should happen. Most students will regress and still need interventions.
Virtual Job Fair – April 30-May 15
Candidates upload 2-min. video via Flipgrid for us to access
Should upload for our campus postings, not generic posting
HR will send Friday updates to principal
App for building check-in through the SSO – live soon…
Employee will give health / location information
Not check-in / check out – just do once, each time visit a location
If need to go to a different department within the district, must make an appointment – cannot just walk up.
Grading Guidelines -- Updated as of 4.8.20
This guidance is very much aligned with our current understanding, and we will proceed as planned.
Within this updated version, the district has provided guidance for PK, K and Specials. Please review and list questions / topics you'd like to discuss on your team's Monday agenda.
Exchange Day
- Acknowledge your understanding by following the directions included within the district email. Your acknowledgement is required for participation. Failure to acknowledge will mean you intend to work a typical workday on August 4th.
- Begin completing your Safe Schools coursework. To be eligible for the Exchange Day, you must complete 100% of your coursework by 12:00PM on August 3rd. Jewel and I will check completion at that time and notify those who need to report to work on August 4th.
Note: The district usually adds courses throughout the Summer. If you complete all your coursework early, be sure to check back just before the deadline to make sure something wasn't added after you thought you were through. Even things added late must be completed by the deadline in order to qualify for the Exchange Day.
