WMS June Update
Race to the Finish
As we pass the baton to the last leg of the race and begin the official transition period of our new school community, I want to give you all some very important information.
As of today, we anticipate being able to move into classrooms around August 6th. I know...I know...that's super late, but PLEASE don't panic!
We will adjust our staff development timeline to accommodate everyone having ample time to get their rooms set up. We will have the building open as many hours as you need starting from the time we get to officially move in. We also have TONS of people from all over the district who have already offered to partner with our WMS staff to get everything ready to go for our first day.
I know we will accomplish our goal of having our school ready for kids because no matter what the rooms look like, our hearts will be open to receive them! And, THAT is the most important thing!
We will have lots of summer events going on both connected to WMS and district-wide. Your admin team is working to get everything planned out, and we will send out updates throughout the summer. I encourage you to absolutely unplug and refresh this summer, however, if you just can't completely turn off, check out the dates below and check our school calendars to be in the know!
I wish you all the best and I can't wait to start this new adventure with you!
Have a wonderful summer, and remember, "You belong here!"
-Mishler
