General Considerations
- All students, regardless of Cohort, are included in the lessons.
- New content can be shared with supports.
- On Wednesdays, follow the existing Wednesday Schedule with Specials and Spanish
- Your check ins will have an academic focus.
- The schedule has evolved from our previous all remote model, which included the Morning Meeting, Tech Support, and SEL meetings, to an academic support focus.
PreK and K-2 (Sample Primary Schedule)
Monday and Tuesday Schedule:
Please coordinate times with your BSI staff and POR Teachers to avoid scheduling conflicts.
9:00 Morning Meeting (Approximately 20 minutes)
- SEL support
- Preview daily lessons and activities
Students work on ELA activities/lessons shared through Schoology. Please allow time for work completion before your next meeting.
11:00 ELA Check in (Approximately 25 minutes)
- ELA/Classroom teachers check in with the class to follow up on activities.
Students work on math activities/lessons shared through Schoology. Please allow time for work completion before your next meeting.
12:30 Math Check in (Approximately 25 minutes)
- Math/Classroom teachers check in with the class to follow up on activities.
Students work on all other activities/lessons shared through Schoology. Please allow time for work completion before your next meeting.
2:00 or 2:30 End of the Day Check in (Approximately 25 minutes)
- Classroom teachers check in with the class to follow up on activities in science/social studies, Health, etc.
Grades 3-5 (Sample Intermediate Schedule)
Monday and Tuesday Schedule: (Courses Rotate: ELA/Math/ and Science)
Please coordinate times with your BSI staff and POR Teachers to avoid scheduling conflicts. Adjust as needed to see all students/homeroom classes throughout the day.
Students work on activities/lessons shared through Schoology throughout the day. Please allow time in between sessions for students to complete assignments.

Specialized Teacher Roles for Monday and Tuesday:
SC (LD, MD, ASD, ESC) teachers- Morning Meeting (whole group), small group or individual meetings live streamed as appropriate. Asynchronous and virtual lessons, activities, and materials may be shared. Physical materials, lessons, and activities can be shared prior/sent home to be implemented during remote lessons when appropriate/needed.
POR teachers- Assign modified lessons/activities through Schoology as you would typically. Check in with your POR classes in coordination with the times created by the grade level teachers. You can be flexible to address multiple groups.
ICR teachers- Assign modified lessons/activities through Schoology as you would typically. Join the check in with the co-teacher(s) or set up a separate, small group meeting with classified learners as appropriate.
REF staff- BSI and TAG students will be receiving services in the afternoon.
