In addition, classes will meet with their assigned summer school homeroom teacher daily for additional group activities. The bulk of summer school instruction will take place Mondays – Thursdays from June 22 – July 23 with Fridays reserved for teachers to schedule virtual appointments with individual students and small groups.

As in past years, we will be partnering with Vernon & Southport Elementary schools. Registration is open now at this link (be sure to click on the Grewenow, Southport, Venon site) and you may register now through June 1 to reserve your student’s spot. Grade 3

Mrs. Gomez, Ms. Newman, and Mr. Smith have really missed your Mad Lib videos from past weeks, so... we decided to do it again!!! Here are three new Mad Libs for you to choose from. If you are unable to print them, just write them out on a piece of paper. Make sure you are coming up with good, funny nouns, verbs, adjectives, and anything else they may ask for! REMEMBER! A NOUN is a person, place, or thing. A VERB shows action or "doing". An ADJECTIVE is a describing word. PLURAL means "more than one". Do these Mad Libs with your family! If you are able, take a video of yourself reading a finished Mad Lib, and then post it on the STREAM for all of us to see! Let's see how funny you can get! Can't wait to see them!
