Understanding Your SAT Score Report
During WorkKeys pre-gridding in March all 11th grade students were encouraged to create College Board accounts and request their 4 free score sends to colleges for the Spring SAT. Counselors went into English 11 classrooms on May 12 & 13 to help students send their scores to colleges. Registration forms were given to students on Monday, May 16 for students who were absent 5/12 or 5/13. The deadline has now passed for the 4 free score sends. Counselors have requested fee waivers for additional scores sends and hope to have those in September. At this time, if students want to send their scores to additional colleges and universities they may do so through their College Board account for $11.25 each.
SAT vs. ACT Chart
College Board has released the new concordance table which compares ACT scores to the new Redesigned SAT scores. As colleges are updating the admission requirements you can use this chart to see where your scores fall. All colleges and universities in Michigan accept the SAT for admission.
What if I want to retake the SAT?
Both ACT and College Board will send us fee waivers in the Fall for students who wish to take/retake the assessments. Fee waivers will be available in the counseling office once they are received. See the chart below for 2016 - 17 SAT and ACT testing dates.
