Day of the Dead
I drew a sugar skull inspired by Day of the Dead.
Contour Drawings/ Line
I did a contour drawing of a hand and used zen-tangles to make a really cool image.
Expressive Line
I drew lines to express a feeling of loneliness.
First 2 Six Weeks Of Art Class
In the first 2 six weeks of art class, we learned about line, shape, form, and value. We learned about expressive line and contour line. For shape we learned about geometric and organic shapes and how to use shapes to make a work of art. We made a sculpture with shapes made of cardboard for form. We recently learned about Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Muertos). We drew sugar skulls using value and shape and line. We cut out shapes from paper to make a work of art inspired by Henri Matisse. One thing that was really cool that the whole class did together was we each got one or more square and we drew a part of an alligator and gave it to the principal.
