"We exist so children can excel."
What We're Learning in Challenge
3rd & 4th Grade
This Week's Share Topic: Share about your favorite sport. Do you play it or just watch it? You might want to bring in some of the equipment you use to play that sport. Pictures, trophies, etc. are fine, too.
Next Week's Share Topic: Tell us about your brothers or sisters or other kids that live with you. Do you get along, or fight? What do you argue about? You may bring in pictures of them or write a story about a time you did or did not get along. If you don't have siblings, then how about telling us about your cousins?
5th & 6th Grade
We are continuing on with Countdown. With the setting taking place during the Cuban Missile Crisis, we will integrate current events as we discuss President Obama's recent visit to Cuba. You can be sure that will spark some interesting discussion with this lively crew. This week we also intend to spend some time having fun with words that are of special interest to high ability students.
