Heroin is derived from opium poppy plants. A white syrup is taken out and when dried forms opium. Then from this form other illegal drugs such as Heroin are made.
History
Heroin is very much addictive and is considered a depressant. It affects the brain making it unable to feel pain any longer. There are numerous ways in which it is used a few being smoked, injected or inhaled.
Schedule of Controlled Substance/Penalties
Heroin is considered schedule 1 meaning there is no accepted medical treatment and it is illegal to create and distribute. No less than 5 years jail time and large fine.
Psychological Effects
The brain is effected and cannot determine what is pain. Also one using Heroin can see an effect in blood pressure, arousal, and respiration.
