I hope you are enjoying your Teacher Appreciation Week! It was fun getting to see some of you to deliver gifts today.
GRADING UPDATE:
Teachers, we have to follow some rules to finish out our gradebooks for the year. By 3:00 pm on May 15, I need each of you to put a C as the grade for Quarter 4. The C is going to mean that they completed the year with us. Your quarter 3 grades will be rolled over automatically to reflect the semester 2 grade. If you need help or have questions email me or call my cell.
Those of you teaching high school credit courses, I have already emailed you. Please make sure the spreadsheet we are using is up to date by the May 14th deadline.
Appreciate all you are doing!

Packing Up Classrooms
You may sign up for a day to pack up your classroom. I am limiting the number of people in the building to 15 each day, so only sign up in a highlighted cell. *Please limit the number of people in any hallway (6th, 7th 8th, Electives) to no more than 5 at a time. If we get started and need/want to adjust that we will. Let's just see how the schedule goes. Please label all of your items with your current room number and last name.
We are still working on building teams and assigning rooms so I can't give you directions for moving rooms just yet.
Room Clean Out Schedule/Sign Up
Please complete this revised EOY checklist as you work.
Please complete this EOY Technology Checklist as you work.
You may place completed checklists in Amber's box.

I still encourage you to use this link! While we are all isolated I know everyone would love some good news in their inbox.
If you sent a shout-out and I haven't share it, please let me know. I am still perfecting my system of keeping up with these.
Kudos!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Ms. Cook! I have given our daughter full responsibility for her classwork so I am glad to hear from you that it is getting done!
Also, thank YOU for keeping canvas so well organized and updated. I check it occasionally for my daughters' classes, but some classes don't have current assignments / grades clearly stated, which makes it challenging to know exactly what is going on. Your class is very well done. Thank you.
I imagine you are very busy and it is so nice that you took the time to write. Thanks so much!
I hope you and your family are staying well. -Happy Parent
Hi Mrs. Stanley
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and I really appreciate you. This year you helped me be a lot better at ELAR. I would not be doing Pre AP if it wasn't for you. You have really helped me get out of my shell as well. I ask more questions and talk to a lot more people and I appreciate you because of that. Thanks for everything you do. -Sweet Student
Mrs. Maki,
You may not be my teacher anymore, but that doesn't mean I don't still appreciate you. I'm sure you have done so much for your students during this time, and are inspiring them to do their work. I know its probably hard for you, and that's why I just want to tell you thank you. Thank you for being yourself every day in class when I had you, and for always being someone there for me. I know I may tell you this a lot, but it's true. Last time I visited you before winter break, I was a nervous wreck. That's mostly why I didn't speak, and the background knowledge of not knowing you had a class haha. Anyways, there were so many things I wanted to say, but my heart was beating literally out of my chest and I couldn't think of anything I had wanted to say. Basically, I was just gonna say everything that was already on the card, so it would have been boring to listen to anyways. Although, it was so nice to see you again, and see you smile. Hopefully I can see you again sometime in the future. Also, in honor of appreciation week, I created this video just to make you laugh in case you are ever stressed. I know I always had a great time when we made jokes together, so this is my way of making you laugh when you need it. I miss you so much, and I hope you have the best week ever! You deserve it more than anyone. -Precious Former Student
The special ed team has worked so hard during this digital learning. They are going above and behind to make sure their kids have access to great lessons. They have all learned more than they ever thought about technology and online learning. It is a challenge to reach all students in this setting, but they are doing their best to get all students involved. They have so many duties right now with creating lessons, webexing with kids, contacting students/parents that aren’t logging in, keeping up with ARDs, IEP amendments, keeping all kinds of documentation with parent/student contacts, tracking goal data, meetings, meetings, and more meetings. You guys are amazing and I appreciate you more than you will ever know. I am so lucky to work with such caring and dedicated teachers! -Lori Bell
Gary,
We got this feedback from a student on our CREED survey and wanted to share it with you. “My CREED teacher, Mr. Williams, did the lessons, but he also talked to us about high school and other things. We had a lot of fun with him.” Great job Gary, we appreciate your work with our students, you truly made an impact. -Counselors
