Normandy CFO Extends Invitation to Join Transportation Team as Bus Driver
We’re so excited to have our students back on campus for in-person classes. Hopefully this is the first step on the path of post-COVID normalcy for our community. This year we have already rolled out exciting initiatives for our scholars such as the sharp-looking new school uniforms, and more rigorous curricula in English language arts and mathematics. We are also in the midst of major renovations and construction at Normandy High School including a new cafeteria and Secure Campus Connector/Welcome Center. We appreciate your support and partnership as we continue to work to move the district forward, all with the goal of preparing confident learners for college, career and productive citizenship.
As you may have heard, there is a nationwide shortage of school bus drivers, including here in the Collaborative. As a result, we sometimes have to adjust our bus routes (often with short notice), causing students to be picked up and dropped off later than scheduled. We know this can cause inconveniences for families, and we are diligently working to ensure all routes are covered. Once the Transportation department is made aware of a possible delay to a route, we will notify families via phone call and/or text message of the delay. Please be sure that your contact information is current on file, or contact your child’s school to update if needed.

Daily Health Check: Parents please perform daily health checks on your students prior to sending them to school. This will help stop the spread of COVID in our schools. The Daily Health Check list is available here or at the COVID Return to Learn section of the website. The document is also posted below this article.
Chromebooks: All students need to bring their Chromebooks to school daily. If Chromebooks are broken or in need of repair, please return them to your child's school.
