A Message from Mrs. Caudill
You did it! We did it! Together we made it possible! One thing that has been an incredible help and comfort this week is the way we have come together to support and lift each other up. The amount of sharing, collaboration, grace and patience this week has been inspiring. I have many thanks to give this week. Thank you to our teachers for all their hard work and dedication. They were rock stars this week! Thank you to our students for their excitement and willingness. Thank you to our parents for learning our new processes along with your student all while trying to balance all the commitments that come with adulting.
I recently heard a speaker that said "We aren't as lost together as we are by ourselves." I am so glad we are on this journey together. The entire team here at Amerman is only a phone call or email away. Please don't hesitate to reach out. Together, we can do hard things!
Stay well,
Devon Caudill

Supplies and Supply Pick-up
Our student supply pickup is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15th, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and from 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM. For this process to run safely and efficiently, we ask the following procedures be followed:
Please print and fill out THIS PAGE prior to your arrival. We ask that you place this page in your windshield as it will assist our process in terms of efficiency.
As you arrive, please stay in the car loop and do not exit the line until you have all your supplies. Please see THIS MAP for directions on how to enter and exit the loop off of Eight Mile.
When picking up supplies, a volunteer will radio into the gymnasium and your supplies will be brought to you.
Students and parents are asked to remain in their vehicles throughout the pickup process.
If possible, please open either your trunk or sliding door to your minivan and one of our volunteers will place your materials inside your vehicle...touchless service :)
Please be patient as our goal is to safely get all supplies to you as efficiently as possible.
Please note - If you are a parent of a virtual TC (KDG), Moraine (2) or Winchester (5) student you will go to the supply pick-up at your home school.
Also, ALPS kids are Amerman kids, you would come here to Amerman to pick-up their supplies.
*** Please note supply pickup is NOT just for those who ordered EduKits, there are classroom materials too***

Library Books
Please check to see if your student has any missing/ outstanding library books from last school year. We have tried to contact families directly . Due to the premature closing of school many students still have outstanding library books. These accounts need to be reconciled so they may check out new books when we are finally back in school. You may drop them off at the Amerman front office M-F 8am to 4pm. Thank you in advance!

must do - Annual Online Information Confirmation

Through this process you will be asked to update your student’s emergency contact information, home address and health information, review our technology use policy and student handbooks, learn more about PTSA/PTA, access the web store and much more.

PROTOCOLS FOR IN-PERSON RETURN

YEARBOOKS
Due to the COVID-related delays at the post office, our yearbooks have not arrived yet. Depending on when they get here, we will either hand deliver them or schedule a pick-up time. (Last year's fifth graders' yearbooks will be sent home with a sibling or to the middle school.) Please stay tuned for more information!

Join Cub Scouts!
Cub Scout Pack 755 is based around Amerman Elementary School and the program is open to all boys and girls from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Your student is eligible to join Cub Scouts right now!
Attached is a flyer with more information. We will be holding our "Drive-Thru Join Scouts Night" on Wednesday, September 16th from 6PM to 8PM in the Amerman South/West Lot. It is an open house format, so come when you can and we will answer questions and hopefully provide you with all the information you need.
We still have planning to do as we adapt to the new normal, but we are determined to make this year of scouting our best ever! Scouts love fresh outdoor air and that is a great foundation.
