Thomas Edison was born on February 11, 1847 in Milan , Ohio , and grew up in Michigan. Edison began his career as an inventor in Newark , New Jersey. The first invention that brought Edison publication was "fonograf " In 1877 , in fact it was the first practical device for recording and playback of sound. Edison was died October 18, 1931 when he was 84 years old.
