Dear Parents and Students,
On behalf of the faculty and staff, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Fisher Middle School. Our mission at Fisher Middle School is to promote the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of the unique middle level learner.
We promote students to SOAR all day, every day. We expect that students learn to be Safe, take Ownership of their actions, Achieve at their highest capability, and act Respectfully towards every adult and student.
At Fisher Middle School, we strive to provide students with the opportunity to reach their highest learning potential. We believe in creating an atmosphere of collaboration among all community members and working together as a team to ensure our students achieve high levels of academic and developmental success.
We look forward to meeting all parents at our Back-To-School Night on Wednesday, September 14th at 6:30 p.m. We look forward to a great 2022-23 school year!

Student Drop-Off/Pick Up Area
Students should be dropped of at 8:05 a.m. and picked up on the circle at the end of the school day.
Students are not to be dropped off or picked up in the parking lot.
Passing other vehicles is not permitted.

Emergency Drills
If you hear your child talking about these events, please remember that they are only drills. Should a real emergency situation occur, parents will be notified as soon as possible.
Please feel free to contact the school with any questions or concerns that you may have regarding this.
Lockers and Bookbags
Reminders....
If you are planning on participating in a fall sport, please complete the forms in Genesis and submit the sports physical to the nurse as soon as possible.
Students cannot participate until they have been cleared by the nurse.
6th Grade Immunizations:
All incoming 6th grade students, who are eleven years old or older, are required by law to receive both the Tdap and Meningococcal vaccines before the first day of school. Please forward your child's shot records to the Fisher Nurse's office prior to the first day of school. They can also be emailed directly to the nurse at kjohmann@ewingboe.org.
Bulletin:
The daily parent bulletin with the Fisher Happenings will be posted every day on the school webpage. Please check them regularly.
ID's/Lanyards:
Due to safety and security, all students are required to wear their ID's and lanyards while in school each day. Each student will be issued a new ID at the beginning of the year. Replacement ID's will be $2.00.
