Momo Challenge
The Momo challenge has been in the press recently. We have sent information to schools and if you are part of our SLA then any reference to it is restricted at source. This leaflet from www.nationalonlinesafety.com offers some good advice for parents.
TEACHING BASIC SKILLS
Typing Tutors
You may have become aware that in recent years children's basic computer skills have worsened. They find using a keyboard and mouse increasingly difficult, due in part to the rise in touch screen technology. They may also lack skills in file management.
We have put together some links to great activities on the internet to help address this and a list of basic skills that should also be taught across the curriculum.

This is part of the 2Simple Collection that all South Tyneside Schools have on their network.

This skills checklist is organised with word processing in mind. It is divided into three levels, Novice, Experienced and Advanced with inappropriate levels greyed out.
Please adapt it for your school's use. I hope you find it useful.
