ICT in Schools Bulletin
E Safety Videos
We have been busy creating some resources that you can use to support parents understand how to keep their family safe online. They are on our website and YouTube channel as well as in this bulletin. You are very welcome to embed them onto your school website and use to show parents.
TEACHING BASIC SKILLS
You may have become aware that in recent years children's basic computer skills have worsened. They find using a keyboard and mouse increasingly difficult, due in part to the rise in touch screen technology. They may also lack skills in file management.
We have put together some links to great activities on the internet to help address this and a list of basic skills that should also be taught across the curriculum.
This is part of the 2Simple Collection that all South Tyneside Schools have on their network.
