Band Camp Update

July 27 - July 30

Dates and times

Band Camp is tentatively scheduled for July 27-July 30. An update will be sent out the week before camp with final information. As of yet St. Lucie Schools has not yet finalized its back to school plan. Please read the camp schedule carefully so you know what days and times are for you. Our schedule this year has been developed with social distancing guidelines and district safety policies in mind. Arrival and dismissal procedures will be published by July 23.


Brass: Monday, July 27 and Wednesday, July 29 7:30 - 10:30 AM

Woodwinds: Tuesday, July 28 and Thursday, July 30 7:30 - 10:30 AM

Color Guard and Percussion: July 27-30 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM


Students who wish to participate in Color Guard should arrive each day of camp. Guard auditions will be on Thursday, July 30. Drum-line auditions will be held during camp.


ALL STUDENTS MUST BRING THE COMPLETED CAMP PAPERWORK AND PHYSICAL WITH THEM IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN CAMP ACTIVITIES. CLICK HERE FOR A PDF OF THE FORMS PACKET.

What to Bring and Volunteering.

ALL students will need to bring their own supplies to camp as there can be no sharing of items per CDC guidelines. Students who do not arrive with all necessary items for the day will be unable to participate. Students will need to bring the following items:



  • Instrument
  • 1 Gallon of water (We are unable to refill water coolers)
  • Sunscreen (no sharing)
  • Towel (no sharing)
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Mask


We will be in need of some parent volunteers at each part of camp (7:30-10:30 and 11:30-2:30) each day to help with monitoring social distancing, hand washing and heat safety. Parents who wish to volunteer, please click here and visit the district's volunteer page to register. We will begin sending out information about signing up to volunteer July 21. Leadership Updates

Drum Majors will be tentatively returning on July 21. Students who wish to be on executive leadership should plan to be at TCHS on July 22 and 23. Information on band leadership will be posted on the leadership page on the website and sent out via Remind by July 17.
