- Please know per Administration the schedule for Cultural Awareness Day has been approved as well is optional.
I hoped to send Cultural Awareness Day Schedule out before the Newsletter but wanted to wait until all portions of schedule were approved by Administration.
The Event is a half day total by grade level in Forty-Five minute increments. We will begin with Kindergarten and continue with each grade until 11:45am.
Since the Event is OPTIONAL, please notify me which classes are coming by adding your name to return email in grade level time slot. Parent Volunteers and Mrs. McCoy and I will pick students up and return students to your classrooms.

PLC Focus
- All students can learn!
- Focus on Results
- Collaborative Culture
What are your strengths as a PLC? Where do you need to focus more attention?
Based on your feedback we will move forward with plans for a leadership team. We plan to have this team in place and fully running next year, but we would like the name of the person from your team that will be representing you for the '13-'14 school. Please send the name of this person to Crystal and Rhonda.
Mrs. Kelsey
Rhonda Kelsey has been with us now for two years and in that time she has taught me so much. I know that many of you share this gratitude for challenging us all to stretch ourselves to serve our kids at an even higher level. Thank you, Rhonda, for not backing down about PLCs. We needed that push. -Mrs. Guyton
Mrs. Myers
You can always find Stacy among the children. She has a way of always putting children first no matter what else might be going on around her. Thank you, Stacy for being an advocate for students.
Mrs. Joy Miller
You can always find Joy calm, cool, and collected. When storms are churning under the surface, she is a sea of glass. She puts children first and remains focused on the task at hand.
