Child Safety

If you have ever watched over neighbor's children or other family members, you know there's bound to be at least one accident so it would be better to be prepared for them.


Burns:


-Whenever A child gets a burn, the best thing to do is rinse it with cool water.

-Next put some wort of loose fabric around the burn so it won't get infected.

-Call the emergency people to get professional help.


Seizure:

-When a child is having a seizure, you first priority is to contact medical help.

-You may NOT hold the child but keep them in comfort.

-After the seizure, comfort the child; make them know that you're there for them.

-If any vomiting occurs, roll the child to one side so they won't choke.
