How the disease is contracted
This disease is contracted most during the seasons of winter ans spring because of the cold temperatures and pollen that is floating and laying around. Once this disease is inside the body it begins to multiply and attack the mucous membranes in the nose and the throat causing the common effects of the cold.
What are the symptoms of the disease?
A runny nose, sneezing, and congestion.
What are the health effects of the common cold?
They are really no additional health effects that comes with the common cold other than the regular symptoms.
How is this disease treated?
There is no cure for the common cold except antibiotics which the goals are to make you feel better and to help you fight off the virus.
