This week...

**We worked on making text connections and fluency in Reader's Workshop

**Students met Even Steven and Odd Maude & also worked on skip counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's

**We are continuing to work on basic addition and subtraction - don't forget to practice at home!

**We are reviewing citizenship, rights, and responsibilities in Social Studies and will take a quiz on Tuesday of next week

**Students also met with the counselor to review Sprigeo, an online way to report bullying in the school

**Students are working on adding details and better beginnings to their writing as well as capitalizing beginnings and using appropriate ending punctuation.

SHUFFLE TIME

TODAY WAS THE KICKOFF ASSEMBLY FOR THE SHUFFLE -IT IS NEXT FRIDAY!!


*Collection envelopes and information sheets are in your child's backpack today.


*Students should dress for the weather and wear sneakers.


*Water bottles will be provided that day and water from home is welcome!

TONIGHT is elementary night at the BHS football game! Students can run on the field before the game.
