Congratulations to our Battle of the Books Team!
On Thursday, January 19, our amazing Battle of the Books team participated in the 4th Annual High School PSJA Battle of the Books. After an exciting and close tournament, our kids came in 2nd place. We are very proud of our students for their hard work and dedication. They "fought" hard at this tough tournament. Team members include: Jose Hinojosa (Captain), Juan Alvarado, Zorayda Sanchez, and Roxanna Sanchez. Great job!
Makerspace: Origami
In our Makerspace, students had the opportunity to create the ancient art of Origami. It took some patience, but students were able to create their masterpieces! If you'd like to learn how to do Origami, come by the library to check out books from our Origami collection. We'll even give you some Origami paper!
New Books!
Make sure to come by the library to peruse our new books display! There is something for everyone. We have everything from mysteries, to horror, to romance. And of course some manga as well!
Featured Library Resource: Britannica School Edition
View a video tutorial (created by me!), on how to use this great resource that can be used for your research!
