King Tut's Life
Do you know about King Tut? Well I do! Tutankhamun was born in 1343 B.C. King Tut was born in Ancient Egypt. Tutankhamun was first known as Tutankhaten meaning (living image of Aten). King Tut had five names, Tutankhmun, Heru, Ka nakht , Nebuty, Nefur Hepu, Se Gereh Taui, Heru Nebu, Nesu Biltty, Nelkheperura. This young boy became king at the age of 9 and ruled until his death at age 18. Known to many as "the boy king," he also became well-known for chariot racing.
King Tut's Death
Was King Tut murdered or did he die from an illness? This age old question has continued to puzzle historians, egyptologists, and scientists for many years. Centuries after his death, King Tut's tomb was discovered by archaeologists in 1922. Many different theories as to how he died continue to be controversial topics. Some will argue that King Tut was likely murdered due to greed and power, while others believe he fell from a chariot or died from an illness. So many theories surround his death that it is impossible to determine an exact cause. In centuries of forgotten facts, one thing is certain, there will continue to be many theories as to how King Tut died.
