What are Irish Setters
An Irish Setter is a dog that can be either red brown mix, or black. Males are about 27 inches tall, and females are about 25 inches tall. Males weigh around 70 pounds while females weigh around 60 pounds. Irish Setters are tall and slender with strait silky coats of short hair on the head and long hair on the ears, tail, and lower body.
What's Interesting
Some things that I thought were interesting about Irish Setters is that they are famous for their pretty fur. It's also very interesting how while Irish Setters are hunting they point their bodies toward the bird they scent. They can also scent birds better than humans can. Their long fur is called feathering. There are many other interesting facts but those are just a few.
