Scheduling

I am beginning to look at courses and enrollment for next year and will definitely keep you in the loop with numbers.

We will begin the master schedule asap.

Summer school/other oppportunities

If you are interested in teaching summer school please let myself or Adam know. Also if you are interested in teaching a remediation class-we are in need of English 9, US History and possibly Biology.

I am open to other semester courses for credit as well if you are interested.

As we continue to look at courses to offer as much as we can for students please feel free to share ideas. Ramsey and Pat are looking into CAPP for Archery and CPR as it's offered at UW-Oshkosh. Others have gone to PLTW training in summer and others have investigated dual-enrollment at MPTC or FVTC=THE MORE THE BETTER!!

ORIOLE WAY

We appreciate any support in reminding students to have passes when they are not in class, to leave backpacks and hats/jackets/blankets in their lockers during the day and being on time to their classes.(two freebies and then detention)

If you have any concerns please let me know what I can do to help.

Next year Oriole Time

Continue to share thoughts for next year Oriole time

Here are some first answers:

1. Run two groups of ACT prep and two groups of Work keys prep first semester so all juniors go through both by the end of first semester and will then have choices for second semester

2. Have students sign up by the end of the year for enrichment options first quarter so staff may plan (PLEASE EMAIL ME WHAT YOU'D LIKE TO TEACH OR RE-TEACH NEXT YEAR)

3. Make each enrichment/remediation a quarter so it's easier for attendance

4. Offer something for students who have the ability but are not doing their work

Parent Teacher Conferences

Just a reminder of our Parent-Teacher Conference February 22nd from 3-7 p.m. and on February 24th from 3-6:30 p.m.

Key Club is sponsoring sub sandwiches for Monday for staff.

I will look to provide some sort of snack for Wednesday for staff.

Please contact parents you would like to see during conferences!
