Covid Test and Quarantine Procedures

In an effort to make the process of notifying the school if your DCMS student tests positive for COVID-19 or if you are quarantining your child due to a household exposure, please use the links below. We hope this option helps to make this the process easier for our parents. Thank you for your continued support.

DCMS Student Quarantine Due To Exposure Form

COVID Information

If a student has a pending or positive COVID test, he/she should not attend school. If your child has been exposed to an individual who has tested positive, he or she should not attend school. If the parent is notified by a physician that the test is negative, the student can return to school. If the student has a positive test, the parent should provide documentation to the school and follow quarantine orders from the Mississippi State Department of Health. If a parent sends his/her child to school while waiting for COVID test results, the parent is knowingly risking the potential of COVID-19 transmission to staff members and other students. In addition, these actions could cause students and/or staff members to be quarantined by the Mississippi State Department of Health for 14 days. If your child says he/she does not fell well, please do not send them to school.
