Courtwarming Rescheduled - Tuesday, Feb. 19
Physical Night - Wednesday, Feb. 20
Harrisonville High School will host the annual Sports Physical Night on Wednesday, February 20 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
The event is open to all students who plan on participating in a spring sport this year or a sport or activity during the 2019-20 school year. This physical will be good thru the 2019-20 school year.
Students should pick up a physical form in the HHS Activities Office or HMS office before the event and bring the completed form with them to the event. The physical form is also available on the district website - www.harrisonvilleschools.org. Go to Activities, Athletic Training, then MSHSAA Physical Form.
Physicals will be $5 and all activity participants must have a physical on file prior to participating in their activity.

Community Conversation - Tuesday, March 5
As part of its efforts to gather input from staff, parents, and the community, the Harrisonville School District has started hosting Community Conversations twice each year. The first event was in November and the district will host the next one on March 5 from 6-7 p.m. in the HHS library.
The event will include an overview of the district finance and facilities by Superintendent Paul Mensching and there will be time for questions and answers as well.
This event is open to all. Please RSVP to Jill Filer at 380-2727, ext. 1224 or jill.filer@harrisonvilleschools.org for planning purposes.
Student PD Day - Friday, Mar. 8
The day will be organized as a conference with students rotating through three different 45-minutes sessions.
We are still looking for presenters for some sessions. If you or anyone you know would be interested in presenting on any of the following topics, please contact Jill Filer - jill.filer@harrisonvilleschools.org or 380-2727, ext. 1224. Or, if you have an idea for a session you believe might be valuable, please contact Mrs. Filer.

An Evening of Reader's Theatre & One-Acts - Tuesday, Mar. 12
The One-Act is A Rose for Emily. Cast members include Max Allen, Noah Collins, Libby East, Camille Ginnings, Matthew Hasenyager, Charlize Kenney, Joey Laxure, Michael Schuhler, and Breezy Semler. Crew members are Caitlyn Costner, Macey Shumaker, and Hunter Carlton.
The Reader's Theatre is The Moral Compass and cast members include Caleb Baker, Brenna Blackburn, Brooklyn Fools, Clint Howser, Halle Kenney, Cody Knoblauch, Mandy Landstrom, Danielle Lasure, Lydia Newman, Gabrielle Streeter, Victoria Wise, and Gracie Wood. Crew members are Chaela Post and Hunter Carlton.
CCC Spring Advisory Committee Meeting - Tuesday, March 12
Cass Career Center will host the spring Advisory Committee meeting on March 12 from 6-8 p.m. The Advisory Committees meet once in the fall and once in the spring. Members provide the CCC staff with input from industry and the community in order to ensure programs remain relevant. Programs with Advisory Committees include, Agriculture, Automotive Technology, Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity, Health Science, Marketing/Business, Engineering, Fire/EMT, Welding, and Construction Technology. The meeting includes dinner and takes place at CCC, 1600 E. Elm.
