2019 Spelling Bee

Congratulations to Cecilia Bettag who won the 2019 Seton School Spelling Bee. She will represent Seton at the city-wide bee on Thursday, January 17. There was a second place tie. Second place goes to both Kate and Lizzie Bemis. Thank you to all who participated and to Mrs. Otte for running the contest.

A group of Seton's 7th and 8th grade girls gather together in friendship for another week of Blaze! Blaze is a new Walking with Purpose ministry uniquely created for middle school girls. Every Thursday morning at 7 am, our Blaze girls share breakfast and discuss topics that help them navigate truth and lies in their everyday lives and discover a deeper love of Christ and the truths of our Catholic faith! Mrs. Olivieri (co-leader alongside Mrs. Steckbauer) had this to say about this morning's session, "Their gift today was a pair of gloves. We used the analogy that an empty glove can't accomplish anything. But when a working glove is filled with a living person's hand, it can do the job it is meant to do! It's the same when we fill ourselves with the Holy Spirit!"

Calculators for Seton Middle School

Seton Middle School is looking for a donation for a classroom set of calculators. As the students progress through the math curriculum the use of a more advanced calculator is essential for their learning. Due to the cost of these calculators, it can pose a financial burden on some of our families.

A set of 10 that could be checked out to our students can be purchased for about $110.00 dollars. Your help would be greatly appreciated! Any amount would help.

If you would like to donate, please contact the office at Seton School.

Thank you for considering.

175 Hours of Service

To honor the 175th anniversary of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Seton School is working to serve 175 hours. We have a great start. If your family or child does any community service, please stop into the office for a puzzle piece to add to the bulletin board by the main entrance.

Spread the Pride!

We are excited to welcome seven new students to Seton School this December and January. Our school is growing and it is our wonderful community of families, staff, and supporters who make it possible. Please continue to spread the word and your Seton Pride. If you know a family who would like to join the Pride, send them our way. We would be happy to give them a tour and answer any questions they have about our great school. Remember, School Choice is also an option for families concerned about tuition. Registration for 2019-2020 begins during Catholic Schools Week at the end of this month.

Dear Friends of Seton School,

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School is proud to be supported by people who believe in the value of Catholic education. Through our 2018-19 Annual Fund Drive, supporters have donated just over $26,000. We are hopeful that we will raise an addition $25,000 to support our school and programs. We invite you to support this great tradition by becoming a friend of Seton School.

If 250 people donate $100 we will be able to:

  • support our financial aid program and ensure that more children may come to our school,
  • sustain the maintenance of our school and grounds, and
  • meet all of our financial obligations.

$100 is the equivalent of two Starbuck's coffees per month for one year. It is equal to just 26 cents per day; less than a pack of gum. For just 26 cents a day you can help to support the education of a Catholic child.

All donations are tax deductible and may be mailed to or dropped off at the school or Parish Offices. Thank you for all you do to support St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School with your time, talents, and treasures.

Dr. Stephanie Nardi

Weather and Other Closings or Delays

We will follow the Sheboygan Area School District in weather-related closings and delays. The exception would be days when Sheboygan Public is not in session. In that case we would make those decisions independently.

You can see our announcements on TMJ4, NBC26, and WBAY2. Closings and delays will also be posted on our school website, Facebook page, and Twitter. In addition, we will send out a recorded phone call and a REMIND.

Please Follow This Route for Drop-Off and Pick-Up Safety.

Support PBIS By Ordering Coffee and Tea

Every month Seton School offers the opportunity to order coffee and tea from Mystic Monk. Orders are due to the office by the end of the month and arrive shortly after to go home with your children. This year, the proceeds of those purchases will be used to buy rewards for our students to support our PBIS system. So far we have raised $114.08. Please consider Mystic Monk Coffee and Teas.
