*******Important Announcement about your Laptops*******
Students will have until we return from Spring Break to clear all unapproved programs and applications. We are able to see all programs on all laptops and will begin disciplinary steps for those students who continue to be in violation of the AUP. Students are free to use their OWN devices OUTSIDE of class time for social media, games, etc. However, when using the school network, students must abide by the signed AUP regardless of device being used.
Announcements and Updates
Techknow Camp will be held at Clark Monday June 13th - Thursday June 16th. Mr. Watson is looking for volunteers willing to help out. Being a volunteer is a great way to be a mentor and pick up some service hours. Email Mr. Watson cwatson1@irsc.edu if you are interested in being a volunteer.
It’s time to start thinking about schedules for next school year and what classes you are interested in. Dr. Judd sent a google form earlier this week to all sophomores and juniors to select courses you would be interested in taking if they are put on the schedule. Fill it out before the end of spring break!
Dress code reminder- too many shorts are too short as well as shirts. Dress code is a law to have and staff have given way too many warnings. Discipline action will be taken for those who continue to violate the Clark dress code.
The third quarter ended today. Only about 6 more weeks in your college classes, so buckle down and do what you need to be successful. Lots of tutoring opportunities are available! Finish this last part of the school year out strong!
Clark is hosting a presentation/meet-and-greet with Q-and-A with and by Ms. Rowley from Water for South Sudan the day before the annual WaterFest. Clark played a large role in raising funds to build a well and we would love for all of our students and families to come and speak with Ms. Rowley on Friday, March 25 beginning at 1:30 in the Knowledge Room. Visitors will need to bring DL and allow time to sign in.

See Dr. Bonds for more information and check for an email message from her that was sent on February 18th for the application and details. We hope to see a lot of applications from Clark!

The data also shine a spotlight on accessible colleges that are serving their students well, including by closing gaps in the completion rates among students of color compared with white students and by ensuring programs lead to positive career outcomes with manageable levels of debt. Every day is a celebration!
Make a Difference Mondays! We want to shout out Kayla Carroll and Sienna Perez who were the co-chairs of the wildly successful 10th annual Create for a Cause art show on Friday night. Under their leadership, almost $4500 was raised for the Hope Center for Autism (so far). What a major difference you are making in our community!
Take Care Tuesdays! With all the demands of life, it can be hard to get the sleep you need, but it is important to make an effort to get enough rest regularly. Teenagers should have 8-10 hours of sleep per 24 hour period in order to function at their best. Sleep is essential for maintaining optimal health and wellbeing, and as vital as regular exercise and eating a balanced diet.
Way to Go Wednesdays! Shout out to Colton Smith for taking the initiative to pick up all the SAT Prep books for the class and get them shelved and ready for our next class together. So helpful!
Thankful Thursdays! We are so grateful for nature and beautiful Florida weather! Spring break is near and it is a great time to go for a walk, enjoy our beautiful beaches, state parks, and more here locally. Fresh air is a great way to relax and clear our very busy minds. Get outdoors!
Fun Fact Fridays! Here are some facts about St. Patrick’s Day that occurs on March 17 annually. Did you know the first St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the United States was held in Boston (1737)? Or that Shamrocks are the national flower/emblem of Ireland and the original color for St. Patrick’s Day was blue? Finally, your odds of finding a four-leaf clover are about 1 in 10,000.
