Rock for a Good Cause Concert

Seeking bands to perform

Harvest for Hunger

We will again host a food and funds drive as part of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank's Harvest for Hunger campaign.

Students and families will have the opportunity to donate all month long. You can bring non-perishable food items or funds to the school office during the entire month of March.

Our main fundraising component is our Rock for a Good Cause Concert, which allows our student bands an opportunity to perform their music and to learn about the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank's work to support families in need in our community.

Rock for a Good Cause

Saturday, March 22nd, 4-9:30pm

51 E Market St

Akron, OH

Our student bands will perform from 4-8pm, and Ahi-Nama, featuring teachers Matt DeRubertis, Alex Hoyt and Dan Kshywonis, will perform beginning at 8:30pm.

Band Sets

We will schedule student bands on a first come, first serve basis. The times available are as follows:

4-4:30

4:40-5:10

5:30-6

6:10-6:40

6:50-7:20

7:30-8

Email the HSM office, hudsonschoolofmusic@gmail.com, to reserve your bands time.

We prefer that bands be able to fill the entire half hour with music. If your band is interested in performing but unable to fill an entire half hour set, please email the HSM office to let us know you are interested and do not have enough music to fill the time slot. We will attempt to pair bands with short set lists together to fill a full half hour.
