Our Vision
From Mrs. Cockrell
Dear Chisholm Trail families,
We are so excited to kick off our last week of the most amazing school year ever! We have four days packed full of fun and learning.
We are kicking off our Summer Reading Challenge by giving all students an opportunity to select a few books to take home and add to your home library. These books are a gift and will not need to be returned to the school. We hope that every child will read lots of good books this summer and will be included in our Reader’s Hall of Fame in the fall! Be on the lookout for the Purple Bus this summer, too. They are loading up and coming to a neighborhood near you.
Field Day is on Tuesday, rain or shine! Coach Hines has a lot of fun activities planned for our children and staff on this day. You should have received details from your classroom teacher about this special day.
Wednesday is Snow Cone day! Please send $2 with your child to purchase a snow cone from Blake’s Snow Shack.
Remember that Thursday is the last day of school and we will release at 1:00 on that day.
Enjoy your week and THANK YOU for sharing your amazing children with us!

Registration Information
Arrival
Thank you for getting your students to school on time! Drop off time begins at 7:35 each morning. Staff will be available to supervise students at 7:35 so please do not allow students to walk up to the building before this time.
Each morning the back gate is closed at 7:45 when school begins. If you arrive to drop off your child and this gate is closed, there is no staff on duty in the back and the doors are locked. Any students arriving after 7:45 need to be dropped off and may enter the front of the school. Thanks for helping us ensure student safety!

Good things are happening at Chisholm Trail and we would love to hear about them. Your words of encouragement are invaluable to our teachers!
Health Reminder
As we continue to work hard on campus to keep our children and staff safe, we are asking you to continue to be diligent in reporting to us when your student is either having symptoms, has been exposed, or has received a positive COVID-19 test result. Should you have questions, you may contact me at ccockrell@sangerisd.net or our nurse, Courtney Lynch at courtney.lynch@sangerisd.net.

Arrival/Dismissal
We appreciate that you have your car tags hanging on your mirror at dismissal. In the case of a forgotten tag, we will do an ID check as efficiently as possible, but we may ask you to pull up ahead of the line and wait for a moment.
