Senior Information!!!

Chromebook Information Needed!!!

9th - 11th Graders: We need you to fill out this form regarding your Chromebook. You need to be signed into your SDPC account to access it.

12th Graders: Stay tuned.

Has your address or phone number changed since the COVID-19 school closure?

Families that have a new address or phone number can easily update it by visiting EXPRESS GATEWAY or by typing the following in a browser window <https://express.pickens.k12.sc.us/login>. You will need your child's student number (located on a report card) and your child's birth date (MM/DD/YYYY). You will also need to send proof of residence by either uploading a digital copy in "Express Gateway" or by mailing a paper copy to the school.

Acceptable Forms of Proof of Residence Include:

  • UTILITY BILL: a copy of your current monthly utility bill (electricity, gas, water, etc.) showing the correct billing name and service address
  • CABLE OR SATELLITE BILL: a copy of your current cable television or satellite service bill, as long as it shows the service address and billing address
  • NOT landline phone bills or cell phone bills because those bills do not show a service address

Alive at 25

Alive at 25 virtual classroom courses are temporarily available. To sign up for an upcoming class, visit SNCSC.ORG. Live, virtual trainings are led and monitored by Alive at 25 instructors. Students must have access to the internet and a computer or tablet to participate. Student participation and engagement is required during the full class to receive a certification of completion.

Field Trip Refunds

We will begin issuing refunds for field trips that were cancelled based on travel advisories from the CDC. Families do not need to make individual requests to the school.

Refunds for cancelled field trips will be issued using two methods, MySchoolBucks or paper check:

I PAID ON MY SCHOOL BUCKS:
Payments made through MySchoolBucks (MSB) will be refunded electronically minus the program fee. Refunds through MSB take 3-5 business days after they are processed. If the credit/debit/ACH has expired or has been deleted from your MSB account, the refund will be given by paper check. Due to the volume of refunds being issued, please allow several weeks for processing.

I PAID WITH CASH/CHECK:
Payments made by cash or check will be refunded by paper check issued by SDPC and mailed to the address on your check. Refunds for cash payments will be mailed to the address we have on file. Due to volume of refunds being issued, please allow several weeks for processing.

Food Service

SDPC is offering breakfast and lunch for anyone under the age of 18 (and special needs adults up to age 21) on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The child does not have to be present for the parent to receive the meal as long as the parent can provide identification for the child. Meals are available at six school sites, seven church sites, and at bus stops. Details are listed below.



Food Service Changes Beginning April 13

Food service is now delivering three days per week: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Meals for two days will be served and delivered on Tuesday and Thursday. Our food service sites at schools and churches will follow the same schedule as above, and will continue to be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We will continue to make adjustments to bus routes on a weekly basis.

SDPC is making this change to lower the number of weekly contacts between employees, parents, and each other to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Bus Delivery:

School buses will travel to their morning and afternoon stops carrying meals beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Bus Delivery Schedules for the Week of April 20-24: Daniel Area Easley Area Liberty Area Pickens Area If the time when a student needs to pick up their meal conflicts with a class time, please inform the teacher. Keeping our students fed is a top priority, and our teachers will work with students to make sure basic needs are met first. If you have questions about a bus arriving on time, please call your area bus office. Any child, whether they ride a bus or not, is allowed to get a meal at any bus stop. If you need a meal, just look for a yellow bus!
