Nurse Notes
Germs are everywhere! Please continue to wash your hands correctly and often.
Even more important though, do not touch your face....the "T Zone". It is called that because if you put a capital T over your face it covers the portals of entry for germs - your eyes, nose and mouth. Let's work really hard to stay healthy!
On another note make sure that your children are up to date on their immunizations.
Starting next school year all students must have two Hep A's to enter school. Also, those students entering middle school must have further immunizations including a Tdap and Meningococcal. When your student does get those please make sure to notify your nurse so they can be added to records.
Boston Tea Party - 5th Grade Virtual Field Trip
5th grade would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the PTO for funding our virtual field trip to Boston. All fifth grade classes experienced the Boston Tea Party reenactment. We got to see firsthand what the ships and cargo looked like as well as authentic costumes and settings.
This was beyond a normal Skype session, but allowed our children to actively participate with speeches and activities! Thank you so very much for this awesome opportunity! This is bringing history to life!
Thanks PTO!
