Don't Miss a Beat (9/04/2020)
Week #3
Good afternoon Beaumont Families
The District sent out a message yesterday to inform you that all devices for elementary students will not be available until sometime the week of September 21st. Therefore, remote to F2F students will continue on the current schedule with packets until further notice. New packets for weeks 3 and 4 can be picked up at the front office between the hours of 9 and 4. If you are not able to pick up a packet on Monday, please call the office at 248-682-6822 to make other arrangements. At this time we would also like you to return your child's completed packets (Week 1 and 2) so their teacher may look over them. (Library and Classroom books need to be returned.)
Our staff is so happy to see so many students attending the Google meets daily. Here are some suggestions to help ensure the meets run smoothly:
1. Take care of needs (bathroom, snack, materials ready) prior to the meet
2. Provide a quiet space free from distractions (pets, siblings, TV off, phone off)
3. If you have more than one child on a meet, try not to have them in close proximity (headphones are helpful in this situation)
4. Only use the chat box when the teacher gives the okay to do so
If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact the office.
Stay safe, stay healthy.
Sincerely,
Leslie Guizzetti
Beaumont Elementary Principal
