Ribbon Cutting
Our ribbon cutting with the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce is next Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., and we would love to have you join us! We are celebrating our 30th anniversary! We asked that all of our preschool students come dressed in Merryhill colors that day - blue and yellow. All elementary students will wear normal uniforms.
We will host a light brunch in our gym for any guests that are here, immediately following the ribbon cutting. Thank you for supporting our school.
Early Dismissal / Parent Conferences
As a reminder, we have early dismissal tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. for elementary students. Students are released after that time unless they have signed up for after care tomorrow afternoon. Parent conferences begin tomorrow and carry through next week. Your child's teacher should have contacted you about your scheduled time; contact her if you have any questions.
Aloha Dance - Friday, May 17th
All 2nd through 6th grade students are invited to attend our Aloha Dance on Friday, May 17th from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Join us for dinner, dancing, dessert, and lots of fun! Registration forms will be sent home tomorrow.
Summer Camp
We will be sending home specialty camp information / registration and summer schedules tomorrow. We are excited about an amazing summer of fun and learning and look forward to having all of you here with us! Watch for this information tomorrow!
Teddy Bear Donations
We are supporting the teddy bear donation drive for Cooks Children's Medical Center. There is a collection area in each office. These must be new teddy bears and need to be 7-18" in size. If you have any other critters that are new in those same size parameters, they will accept those and use them in the emergency room. All bears must be here by April 29th. Our 4th-6th grade students will deliver them to the hospital. Thank you for helping us to give back to children as they experience a scary time at the hospital.
Ronald McDonald House Pop Tab Drive
Our 1st grade students are collecting pop tabs for the drive through Ronald McDonald House. Please save the tabs off of the tops of your cans and put them in your classroom's collection box. Thank you for supporting the Ronald McDonald House.
