From The Principal's Desk
Tēnā koutou katoa,
As a village school, it is always nice to know that we can count on the support not only of our parent and local community, but also local businesses who want to give something back.
As you will no doubt be aware, we have been extremely fortunate in recent years to enjoy a Platinum Sponsorship relationship with the team at Barfoot & Thompson Titirangi, who provide ongoing support and revenue for the school. I'm pleased to say that we now also welcome Titirangi Supervalue as our second Platinum Sponsor. It's a great to make another positive connection in this way with businesses who are motivated to invest and make a positive contribution to our learning community.
In addition to the support we currently receive from our friends at Barfoot & Thompson, Titirangi Supervalue will be funding new technology for the school aimed at providing literacy learning support, including new ipads and apps to support the development of reading and writing skills.
So, on behalf of our whole school community, I'd like to thank and acknowledge both LeAnn and her team at Barfoot & Thompson and Pranil from Titirangi Supervalue for their support, which certainly makes a very real and valued difference.

Winter Walkers Milo Morning
On Friday morning, 28 August, the Walking School Bus crew held a celebration to acknowledge those that had walked throughout the winter, (and it has been a wet one!) with all receiving a special tag, completing a marshmallow snowman and supping on a nice hot Milo. It was great for all the routes to get together.
We also recognised the achievements of those that walked on the bus
50 times: Liam Proffit, Nathan Grammer, Olympia de Gourley,
100 times: Jessop de Gourley, Madison Grammer.
200 times: Anya Ryan!!!
Fantastic stuff. Of course none of this could happen without the dedication and commitment of our tremendous drivers. Thanks team for the terrific job you do in getting our children to school safely
