The Book Fair is HERE!
The Book Fair will take place from September 28 – October 5 at Ireland Elementary GYM. The fair will be open daily from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, if you would like to pick your child up from school and shop!
FAMILY EVENTS both September 28 AND October 5! We will be open until 7:00 pm for those FAMILY EVENTS! Bring families, friends, neighbors, and grandparents to shop our amazing fair!
If you don't want to send cash with your child, you can set up an eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! Share each child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy.
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Online Book Fair. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will also benefit our school.

Feed Those Teachers
Parent-Teacher Conferences are a long, but wonderful night for our teachers. To help support them, I thought it would be nice to bring in a few treats for them to enjoy.
Wednesday, September 28th - Pizza and snacks in the staff lounge after school for them to have an early supper before conferences start at 4:00 pm.

Parent-Teacher Conference Sign-up
It is that time of year again for Parent-Teacher conferences!
They will be held on two different days virtually via Zoom, which are Wednesdays, September 28th and October 5th.
If you didn't choose a time, you were assigned a time.
Mindfulness Strategy of the Week
Twisted Up by Mrs. Pfister
Have students scrunch their toes and cross their legs at the ankles. Then they should cross the left arm over the right arm, clasp their hands together, and—keeping their hands clasped—bring them toward their chest. Have them hold that pose for 30 seconds as they take five deep breaths, and then have them take another 30 seconds to uncurl their toes, uncross their legs, extend and unclasp their hands, and uncross their arms while taking another five deep breaths.
Kindness Challenge of the Week
Compliment a classmate - let's do this one again this week!
Every week, your child will be receiving a kindness challenge! If they complete the challenge, they get to put up a sticker on our kindness challenge board!
Jump in on the fun at home too! Help us promote kindness to all - at school, home, and community!

Lunch Visitors
Visitors who want to eat lunch with their child must call the school office by 9:00 a.m. if they wish to order an adult tray. Adult lunches cost $4.25 and must be paid by cash or check in the office when you arrive. If you do not wish to order an adult tray, you do not have to call ahead.
Visitors will be required to wait in the office until the students are dismissed to the cafeteria.
We do not allow outside food to be brought into the cafeteria for your child.
Important Reminders and Updates
School hours are 7:50AM -2:50PM. Students can arrive starting at 7:15AM. Students may not be dropped off prior to 7:15 AM. If you bring your child to school after 7:50 AM, you must escort them to the front doors.
We are highly encouraging parents who are bringing their child to school to use the car drop-off drive. If you would like to walk your child in, you will have to say goodbye outside the front doors. Please trust us that we have your child's best well-being in mind at all times.
All school supplies are provided by the PTO. Your child only needs a backpack, headphones, and a water bottle. Please write your child's name on all items.
Please see nurse Brandi Stiles for prescription medicine intake. All medicine must be accompanied by a parent and include a physician’s prescription. Students are not allowed to transport medicine to school.
VERY IMPORTANT- If your child's transportation changes, please notify the office with a note ASAP.
