HUM OF THE HIVE
Good Morning, Hewitt-Texas Family!
This first quarter of the year has been fantastic! It has been great to get to know your children and be warmly welcomed into our “Hornet Hive”.
I love our school community and want to extend a thank you to our PTO for organizing Harvest Fest. I would also like to thank all of the parents who participated by bringing their children to this school event. Our students all seemed to have a great time! If you volunteered your time during Harvest Fest or provided food for our Parent/Teacher conferences, you are amazing and greatly appreciated!
If you are not a current member of the PTO, but would enjoy being more involved at our school, I encourage you to come to our meeting (in-person or virtually) this Monday, November 7th!
WSD Community Engagement
Our WSD Board of Education is seeking community input on the future of our district! The informational survey and video were sent to all district families in October and now there are opportunities for you to provide your feedback at the upcoming community meetings:
November 16th @ Wausau West
December 7th @ Wausau East
We hope you are able to take time to attend!
Hewitt-Texas Picture Day RETAKE is November 16th.
The PTO would like to thank Hewitt-Texas families for their generous donations for parent-teacher conference meals. We were able to put out the spread we'd hoped for, and then some!
Look for butterbraid orders in your kids' backpacks today. It's a quick turnaround for getting orders in, but it's a great fundraiser and a really delicious product.
Our next meeting is Monday, November 7 at 4:00pm. Please join us as we plan our next family event for January.
President: Danielle Sturzenegger
Secretary: Melissa Peterson
Treasurer: Holli Radtke
Upcoming Meetings: November 7th , followed by the first Monday of every month. Meetings will start at 4pm. If you can't make it to school, join online with our virtual Google Code: meet.google.com/jzk-kbab-nma
