Pedagogy with Petty
Planning for student success must be intentional. Everything from the seating arrangement to Canvas log-in may be needed to help students “re-set” to the structure of school. Your continued work in swaddling our students with structure and routine so they are comfortable in the learning environment is paying off! Keep it up.
Visible Thinking Routines are great resources to scaffold learning at a variety of points during instruction. Check out Core Thinking Routines if you’re running dry on engaging strategies.
Health Benefits Open Enrollment
There will be a mandatory meeting for all staff in the 9th grade design lab on October 11th to show you all the new changes.

United Way
Moving forward, those wearing jeans on Friday should display their button. They are so cute - thanks Ms. Greer!
All United Way donations go to Ms. McBride. Give today!
TLDT Goals
All classroom teachers should assure their students have at least one work sample to put in the portfolio this semester.
2. All EOC teachers will meet or exceed growth this year.
All classroom teachers should post their objective for the daily lesson on the board or in Canvas to demonstrate alignment.
3. 9th and 10th grade students will show growth of at least 10% points in communication and collaboration as measured by the Panorama Survey
Movement throughout the building
- All students must have a pass to leave class
- Students who do not have a class (non-reporting or CCP) should be in G46 or G48 ONLY! Please don't let these students "stow away" in your classrooms or offices. They take this too far and end up all over the. building
- Avoid student movement at the start and end of class (first and last 20 minutes)
- Avoid unnecessary disruption of other teacher's classes if at all possible.
