When did the Taliban start?

Spin Boldak District was the place where the Taliban were founded.
"The Taliban emerged in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar around September 1994. Due to the sudden initiation of the civil war, working government departments, police units or a system of justice and accountability for the newly created Islamic State of Afghanistan did not have time to form."
Who are the Taliban?
The Taliban are an association fundamentalist^1 Sunni Muslim militants. Taliban means "students"in Pashto.
^1:A conservative movement in theology among nineteenth- and twentieth-century Christians. Fundamentalists believe that the statements in the Bible are literally true.
What is the Taliban goal?
The Taliban goal is to seize or stop and end absolute power. That's the biggest reason for their slaughters and all the people they kill, and the damage they do is to have power. The Taliban believe that through piece and communication they are not going to get anything done. This is believed because they don't have any support. Since nobody listens to them they're only way to be heard is though terrorism that way people will actually listen to them.
Where are the Taliban located?
They mostly live near the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. "The Taliban controlled most of Afghanistan from 1996 to late 2001 when American and international coalition forces ousted them from power following the attacks of September 11th." The Taliban threaten to destabilize Pakistan, "where they control areas in the north-west and have been blamed for a wave of suicide bombings and other attacks." The major threat to Afghanistan is their government.
What do the Taliban believe?
The Taliban follow a very strict strict form of law similar to the SHARIA. The Sharia is a traditional interpretation of Islamic law. "The ideological aim of the Taliban today is to reestablish an austere and uncompromisingly puritanical Islamic state in Afghanistan"
Taliban Women
The Taliban believe in correcting the moral wrongs. This includes banning women from shopping in public areas. However overtime they granted "women and weaker groups greater rights and relative equality. For instance, women were granted rights to hold property and slavery was discouraged."
