Granite State RESPECT WEEK: February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. This week, SHS participated in Granite State RESPECT Week, a statewide educational campaign presented by the New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence and its 12 member programs. RESPECT Week aims to promote healthy relationships, raise awareness about community resources and supports, and provide teens, schools, and communities with the tools to prevent and respond to harassment, abuse, and violence. Much like spirit week, each day had a theme and we engaged in great conversations in advisory and in our classrooms. We hope this week's conversations continue in and out of school. Let’s keep supporting a culture where we always lead with RESPECT. #RESPECTWEEKNH

Career Technical Education Programs

An opportunity available to students in their junior year is participation in a CTE program. Opportunities are available to students in Milford, Nashua, and Hudson.

  • Some of the programs are competitive and students should identify a 1st and 2nd choice program and also apply to another site (if if possible).

  • Transposition to Nashua programs is being explored for next year. There is no transportation to Alvirne or Milford.

  • Students who transport themselves will receive mileage reimbursement at the end of the school year.

  • CTE scheduling for next school year is not confirmed until later in the spring.
