Buenos Aires (Spanish: Buenos Aires or Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires) is a city and the capital of Argentina, second largest metropolitan part of South America and the most populous city in the Americas and the world's fourth largest. The city lies the Atlantic coast, and is rich in orbit and spilled into the ocean of the Rio de la Plata. The city's port is the largest in the world, and also serves the Paraguay, and Uruguay's neighbors Argentina.
The city's name means 'good air' (in Spanish "Bueno Aire), referring, apparently, the winds helped Veniootn Spanish naval ships that docked on the shores of the region.
History
Buenos Aires is the oldest cities of South America Hcolnielistit . Salta is a city located in the Lerma Valley, at 1,152 metres (3780 feet) above sea level in the north west part of Argentina and it is also the name for the capital city of the Salta Province. Along with its metropolitan area, it has a population of 619,000 inhabitants, which makes it the second most populated city in the northwest of the country. Within Argentina, Salta is the city which has preserved its colonial architecture the best.
History
Salta was founded on April 16, 1582 by the Spanish conquistador Hernando de Lerma, who intended the settlement to be an outpost between Lima, Peru and Buenos Aires.
During the war of independence, the city became a commercial and military strategic point between Perú and the Argentine cities. Between 1816 and 1821, the city was led by local military leader General Martín Miguel de Güemes, who under the command of General José de San Martín, defended the city and surrounding area from Spanish forces coming from further north.
Salta emerged from the War of Independence politically in disarray and financially bankrupt, a condition that lingered throughout much of the 19th century. However, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the arrival of Italian, Spanish andArab immigrants, particularly Syrians and Lebanese, revived trade and agriculture all over the area while further enhancing the city's multicultural flavor.

Big city gray and boring, it is a huge port city in Argentina to use and export purposes Argentine Navy. The city is about 10 hours drive south from the capital Buenos Aires. If, however, you are here then know that the city itself does not have too much to look for foreign artists' market on Sundays at Plaza Rivadavia. The beaches here are not successful you will deal with. Only two map you will find the Sierra de la Ventana that beautiful mountain range where mountain climbers among you can find purpose. No other city offer tourists.

Communities of Jewish immigrants from Germany and Eastern Europe arrived in the city at the beginning of the 20th century, and during and after World War II .
