50th Annual College Night
On Tuesday, September 13, Danville Public Schools will hold its annual college night at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research. Come out and speak with 50+ colleges and universities! This event is open to all area students and their parents, and we especially encourage juniors and seniors to check out their options!
School Attendance Awareness Month
September is School Attendance Awareness Month. Danville Public Schools is committed to reducing chronic absenteeism and addressing factors that cause students to miss school. With our High Fives for Attendance Campaign, we're aiming to get the whole Danville community involved in this effort. As you see our students in the community, give them High Fives, reminding them to be in school five days per week. Let your children know how important it is to be present and engaged!
High School Credit Recovery
Our second Credit Recovery session is starting next week! If your student needs to recover high school credit, contact their guidance counselor to sign up for our Virtual Night School credit recovery option.
