Artistic Endeavors
D103 students participated in the 42nd annual Consortium ArtFest at Stevenson High School this week. Only 15 percent of Sprague students' artwork is selected for the art show.
Students from Sprague, Half Day, and Daniel Wright are selected for hard work, excellent attention to detail, originality, etc. Each of the selected students have a 2D or 3D artwork displayed. Mediums include pencil, pen, acrylic paint, watercolor paint, chalk pastel, clay, sculpture, collage, etc.
“Students get so excited when they find out their artwork has been chosen for display. For some it is the highlight of their year. The show really is an amazing experience,” said Art Teacher Kerry Sweet.
Please visit the district's Facebook page or Google Doc folder to see the students and their artwork.
