Join National Day of Sisterhood founder Dawniel Patterson Winningham and special Co-Host Shelly Rice for our 3rd annual DAY celebrating women supporting women!
Please note, we are ONLY asking you to PARTICIPATE, and help support improving the status of women nationally. You are NOT required to attend an event to participate.
This year's theme is I am #mysisterskeeper.
To participate you only need to agree that any time between NOW and 12/12/2014 that you will be DELIBERATE about facing women issues and supporting women owned business.
You can:
1. Buy a book written by a woman
2. Support a women owned business by making a purchase
3. Donate to a women's community organization
4. Join a campaign advocating against the issues that hold women back
5. Create your own SPECIAL way to support women
6. Help spread the word about National Day of Sisterhood by inviting YOUR friends
7. Post on Social Media using Hashtag I am #mysisterskeeper
You don't have to do ALL of these, just whichever one(s) works for you!
Join us for the 3rd year in a row as we celebrate National Day of Sisterhood 12/12, a movement designed to bring ALL women together to handle the issues that women face daily:
1. Supporting women owned business
2. Working to close the pay gap
3. Advocating against Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking
4. Improving sharing and relationships among women
5. Promoting positive women role models
6. Working to move women and families away from the poverty line
ONLY by working together will we improve our communities, and turn the world!
