“Keep Calm & Eat Well” – sounds easy enough, but with so many conflicting nutrition claims, fad diets and mis-information circulating, it’s hard to know what to do! Front-of-package claims such as all natural, trans-fat free, high fiber, and no high-fructose corn syrup sound wonderful, but are these foods really healthy? In this kick-off session, we will break into groups and learn which product label and packaging claims are legit, and which are not. Walk away with tools to help you decode food labels so you can “Keep Calm & Eat Well” in 2016.
