Student Laptop check out

Student laptops are available for parents to check out at Christensen Elementary. Please click on the link below to schedule a laptop pick up at Christensen Elementary on Monday, August 24th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm or Tuesday, August 25th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Students need to use a district laptop because some programs are only available on the district laptop.

Important Dates:

August 24th - Student Laptop pick up - by appointment only

August 25th - Student Laptop pick up - by appointment only

Sept. 3rd & 7th - No School - Labor Day Observation

Sept. 8th - 11th - Student Conferences - details coming in the mail

Sept. 8th - First Day of 'Virtual'' School for 1st - 5th grade

Sept. 11th - First Day of Virtual'' School for Kindergarteners

Classroom assignments & schedules

Your student will be receiving a letter next week indicating who their teacher is and which 'Cohert' they have been assigned. If you do not receive a letter by the end of next week, contact the office at 253-298-3300.

This letter details how to schedule a 'socially distant' student conference with their teacher during the first week of school, (Sept. 8th - 11th). Students will receive a bag of basic school supplies and check out their textbooks.

Online Enrollment for 20/21 School Year

To enroll your student online go to, click on 'Families', then on 'Enrollment and Transfers', then click on the red 'Enroll for 20/21' button. Please upload the required documentation. If you have questions or are having problems providing the required documents please call the office at 298-3300.

Kindergartners registering for the fall must be 5 years old by August 30, 2020. Parents or guardians registering their Kindergartner or new student must provide the following documentation to complete the registration:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunizations
  • Proof of Residence, (utility bill dated w/in last 30 days, copy of mortgage statement, documentation from Social Services or tax statement).
