A Message from the Superintendent
On behalf of the Board of Education, I am so proud of our students for winning a Silver Medal or a Bronze Medal in this year's Riverside County Science and Engineering Fair. See the students and their project titles below. It's an incredible accomplishment given the competitive pool of applicants who submitted projects. Thanks to our school leaders, teachers, staff and parents for supporting our students in their effort to compete, and way to go students!!!
HISTORY DAY 2023
In addition to the Science and Engineering Fair, Riverside County Office of Education also hosts History Day every year. History day allows students to become the historian and expert as they present their findings in creative and interesting ways. This year’s theme is Frontiers in History: People, Places, Ideas,.
Students research and create final projects as a poster, podcast, website, documentary, historical paper, performance, or exhibit. Winners advance in each level of competition concluding at the national competition held in June in College Park, Maryland. Congratulations to Ezekiel Geisner from Villegas Middle School. Ezekiel will represent Riverside County at the State level in the Podcast division. The National History Day State Competition will be held at California State University, Sacramento, April 14-16, 2023. Way to go Ezekiel!!! Can't wait to see the podcast.
