Safety at School

Tomorrow will be our final Safety drill at school. We care deeply about our Wildcats!

Each year we conduct five fire drills, two tornado drills, and three evacuation (ALICE) drills. Staff members review procedures with students and we practice each type of drill. The office is
required to write the date and time for each drill and it is turned into the state. Classrooms have red backpacks that are emergency packs. Inside, there is a flashlight, emergency procedures, books for staff members to read to students, a class list. Office and custodial staff communicate using radios.

I hope you find this information helpful and know that the safety of our Wegienka Wildcats is of the utmost importance.

Educationally yours,

Michelle Briegel
