Odds and Ends:
Be on the lookout in your child's binder for their Thursday Folder. We have punched holes in the folder so that it can be kept in the binder. This is where you will find all graded work, as well as notes/flyers that are sent home. Please remove all papers/notes on Thursdays. Thanks so much!
Report cards came home on Thursday. The report card copy is for you to keep. Please have your child return their empty, signed envelope to their teacher.

January is the perfect time to talk about goal setting both academic and personal. Our guidance lessons will give students a chance to reflect on growth they have already experienced this school year and make plans for positive changes.
Small group academic counseling for 5th graders started in December and will continue this month. We go over results of the Cognitive Abilities test and make some short term and long term academic goals. We talk about possible courses choices for middle school. The Clark middle school counselor will be here in February to explain middle school course choices to the students.
